Is this just a phone call?

No. It is a virtual, face-to-face office visit with the Medical Team. You will see the Surgeon or PA they will see you. It will feel like you are sitting in their office, face to face. In many ways, it's not much different than a Facetime or Skype call.

Will insurance cover a tele-surgery/medicine office visit?

In most cases, YES. Most private insurance plans now cover telemedicine visits in Connecticut. Please contact our office to verify your eligibility.

Is tele-surgery a secure method of communication?

YES. Our online platform provides a HIPAA compliant telemedicine platform. The platform has been tailored to our practice and will provide you with a seamless experience.
